Here’s our last set of long prompts for September! There’s only a few days left in our September writing challenge.

• Decaying beams struggled to hold back the encroaching vines.
• A rotten smell started coming from the fields.
• “I’d let it wither on the vine if I were you.”
• “Nature feeds itself on things left to ruin.”

This weekend’s bonus challenge: Select three of your previously written short stories. Write a follow-up short that takes place after and details the consequences of events within your original story.
