- “How did you get a sunburn there?”
- “I can tell someone is grilling.”
- “He’s the sort of person to complain about ice in summer.”
- “Humid enough to swim through.”
- “Why is the yard full of pool floats?”
- “Water boils at a hundred degrees and we’re well passed that.”
- “My least favorite time of year: tourist season.”
Bonus exercise: Use these lines as half of an overheard conversation. How does the missing context change the conversation?
